Peter C. Brockway

Peter C. Brockway has thirty years of experience in private equity investing and was among the first professionals to be active in the private equity industry in the southeastern United States. Over this time, Mr. Brockway has successfully partnered with numerous management teams to expand consumer, industrial and service companies into larger and more diverse enterprises.

With a number of colleagues, Mr. Brockway founded Brockway Moran & Partners in 1998. The firm has raised funds totaling $1.3 billion, and has had multiple funds that are ranked in the top quartile of funds for their vintage. Mr. Brockway also serves as Senior Advisor to Blue Sea Capital, whose Fund I has $325 million of capital commitments. He has served as Chair, Vice Chair and/or Director of approximately twenty corporate boards of directors in industries as diverse as plastics to fitness to consumer products. Mr. Brockway currently serves or has served on the boards of Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc., MD Now Medical Centers, Inc., The Winebow Group, LLC, Turning Technologies, LLC, MW Industries, Inc., Woodstream Corporation, Gold’s Gym, Norwesco, ElectroStar, Inc., Penda Corporation, The Shannon Group, Inc., Sun Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., and Winston Furniture, Inc., among others.

Mr. Brockway serves in a leadership role in a number of non-profit organizations. These roles include serving as a Wake Forest University Trustee and as a board member of Boca Helping Hands, an organization providing food and medical assistance to meet basic human needs and training and guidance to create self-sufficiency, as well as Chair of its endowment. He also serves as a board member of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation and as a board member of Verger Capital, an investment management affiliate of Wake Forest University.

Michael E. Moran

Michael E. Moran has over twenty-five years of private equity investing and financial advisory experience. He has partnered with numerous management teams to expand consumer, industrial and service companies into larger and more diverse enterprises.

With a number of colleagues, Mr. Moran founded Brockway Moran & Partners in 1998. The firm has raised funds totaling $1.3 billion and has had multiple funds that are ranked in the top quartile of funds for their vintage. Mr. Moran is also a founder of Moran Capital Partners, LLC, which has invested in numerous middle market businesses and residential income-producing properties. He has served as Chair, Vice-Chair and/or Director on approximately twenty corporate boards of directors for companies operating in industries as diverse as printed circuit boards and air ambulances. Mr. Moran currently serves as Chair of Pennant Foods Corp. and serves on the boards of Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc., The Winebow Group, LLC, Turning Technologies, LLC, and MD Now Medical Centers, Inc. He has served as Chair of Celeste Industries Corporation, Tri-Star Electronics International, Inc., Air Medical Group Holdings LLC, Cosmetic Essence, Inc. and Integrated Aerospace, Inc., as Vice-Chair of TTM Technologies, Inc. and as a Director of ElectroStar, Inc., among others.

Mr. Moran has been active in numerous community organizations and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Ransom Everglades School serving on the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Investment Committee for Ransom’s endowment fund, as well as a member of the Orange Bowl Committee. Additionally, Mr. Moran has been very active with Autism Speaks, including presenting sponsorships of Autism Speaks Annual Miami-Dade “Walk Now for Autism Speaks.”

Peter W. Klein

Peter W. Klein is a corporate and transactional attorney with over thirty years of corporate and middle market mergers and acquisitions experience, ranging from add-on acquisitions to complex acquisitions and dispositions of both privately held and public companies, including related financing transactions and complex cross-border transactions.

Mr. Klein has served as a Partner and General Counsel of Brockway Moran & Partners since January 2000. Mr. Klein has served as a member of the boards of directors of numerous Brockway Moran & Partners portfolio companies across a broad range of industries. He also serves or has served on the Brockway Moran & Partners valuation, investment and governance committees. In late 2014, Mr. Klein formed Peter W. Klein, P.A., a corporate and transactional boutique law firm representing primarily private equity firms and their portfolio companies. While Mr. Klein devotes a significant portion of his professional time to his private practice, he continues to serve as a Partner and General Counsel of Brockway Moran & Partners.

Lawrence I. Shagrin

Lawrence I. Shagrin has over twenty years of private equity experience, including the sourcing, execution and monitoring of growth-oriented investments in diverse industries. Prior to Brockway Moran & Partners, Mr. Shagrin was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners and a Principal at William Blair & Co.

Mr. Shagrin currently serves as Chair of Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc. and Turning Technologies, LLC. He previously served as a Director of Air Medical Group Holdings LLC, Woodstream Corporation, MD Now Medical Centers, Inc., U.S. Education Corporation, and CPI Resources, Inc. Mr. Shagrin also serves as Managing Partner of Millpond Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on lower middle market investments in the education & training and outsourced services sectors.

Mr. Shagrin is a member of the investment committee at Saint Andrews School in Boca Raton, Florida.

Ari M. Zur

Ari M. Zur has over sixteen years of private equity experience and has partnered with a number of management teams to expand companies across a variety of industries into larger and more diverse enterprises. Prior to Brockway Moran & Partners, Mr. Zur was an Associate with Cambridge Capital Partners LLC, an Investment Analyst with Frontenac Company and a Financial Analyst in the investment banking department of Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.

Mr. Zur currently serves on the boards of The Winebow Group, LLC and MD Now Medical Centers, Inc. Previously, Mr. Zur has served as a Director on the boards of other Brockway Moran & Partners’ portfolio companies, including, MW Industries, Inc. and Celeste Industries Corporation.

Mr. Zur is an active supporter of his children’s school, The Benjamin School, a co-educational, non-sectarian, independent, PK3-12, day school. Mr. Zur is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Benjamin School and Chair of the Advancement Committee.

H. Randall Litten

Randall Litten has fifty years of senior management, acquisition, and portfolio oversight experience, and serves as an Advisory Partner. Mr. Litten has been involved in private equity investing for almost thirty years. During this time, he has successfully partnered with numerous management teams to expand industrial, consumer and service companies into larger and more diverse enterprises. He previously held senior management positions with Owens-Illinois as General Manager of four divisions, with revenues ranging from $150 million to $1 billion.

With a number of colleagues, Mr. Litten founded Brockway Moran & Partners in 1998. The firm has raised funds totaling $1.3 billion, and has had multiple funds that are ranked in the top quartile of funds for their vintage. Mr. Litten has also served as a Director on many boards including Norwesco, Inc., Cosmetic Essence, Inc., Woodstream Corporation, MW Industries, Inc., Celeste Industries Corporation and Penda Corporation.

Mr. Litten has been active in a number of non-profit organizations, including serving in leadership roles in his church and in agencies dedicated to serving underprivileged and malnourished individuals in the Miami area.

B. Jay Anderson

Jay Anderson has more than twenty-eight years of experience in the private equity industry and over thirty-five years of financial accounting experience. Mr. Anderson serves as Chief Financial Officer of Brockway Moran & Partners. He has responsibility for the financial, tax and investor reporting of Brockway Moran & Partners.

Mr. Anderson began his career in the early 1980’s with KPMG in Miami, Florida, where he ultimately became an Audit Manager. His areas of focus included real estate partnerships and banking. In 1987, Mr. Anderson joined Trivest, a middle-market private equity firm based in Miami, Florida, as Controller, ultimately becoming Trivest’s Chief Financial Officer. In 2000, he joined Brockway Moran & Partners.

Brandon O. Cohen

Brandon O. Cohen joined Brockway Moran & Partners in 2014, where he plays an active role with several portfolio companies, including having served as a Director of Woodstream Corporation. Prior to joining Brockway Moran & Partners, Mr. Cohen was an Associate at Harren Equity Partners, LLC, and began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Consumer Group of Barclays Capital.

Kevin D. Silver

Kevin D. Silver joined Brockway Moran & Partners in 2012. Currently, Mr. Silver serves on the Board of Directors of Turning Technologies, LLC, Pennant Foods Corporation, and Butterfly Effects, LLC. Mr. Silver also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Butterfly Effects, LLC and is a Vice President of Moran Capital Partners, LLC. Prior to Brockway Moran & Partners, Mr. Silver was an Analyst in the Commercial & Industrial Group of William Blair & Company.

He is a member of the Young Professional Advisory Council for Miami University.
