Peter C. Brockway has over thirty years of experience in private equity investing and was among the first professionals to be active in the private equity industry in the southeastern United States. Over this time, Mr. Brockway has successfully partnered with numerous management teams to expand consumer, industrial and service companies into larger and more diverse enterprises.
With a number of colleagues, Mr. Brockway founded Brockway Moran & Partners in 1998. The firm has raised funds totaling $1.3 billion, and has had multiple funds that are ranked in the top quartile of funds for their vintage. Mr. Brockway also serves as Senior Advisor to Blue Sea Capital, whose Fund I has $325 million of capital commitments. He has served as Chair, Vice Chair and/or Director of approximately twenty corporate boards of directors in industries as diverse as plastics to fitness to consumer products. Mr. Brockway currently serves or has served on the boards of Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc., MD Now Medical Centers, Inc., The Winebow Group, LLC, Turning Technologies, LLC, MW Industries, Inc., Woodstream Corporation, Gold’s Gym, Norwesco, ElectroStar, Inc., Penda Corporation, The Shannon Group, Inc., Sun Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., and Winston Furniture, Inc., among others.
Mr. Brockway serves in a leadership role in a number of non-profit organizations. These roles include serving as a Wake Forest University Trustee and as a board member of Boca Helping Hands, an organization providing food and medical assistance to meet basic human needs and training and guidance to create self-sufficiency, as well as Chair of its endowment. He also serves as a board member of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation.
